CHICAGO, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Duff & Phelps Credit Rating Co. has upgraded the claims paying ability rating of American Investors Life Insurance Company (AIL) to `A+' (Single-A-Plus) from `A' (Single-A). (AVFC), a publicly held holding company traded on NASDAQ.
