 DU PONT OFFERS $300 MILLION 7.5 PERCENT EURODOLLAR NOTES
 WILMINGTON, Del., May 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Du Pont (NYSE: DD)


announced today it is offering $300 million of 7.5 percent Eurodollar notes due 1999.
 Proceeds will be used for general operating purposes.
 The issue will be sold through underwriters led by Swiss Bank Corporation.
