DU & US varsity sign MoU.

DELHI University on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding ( MoU) with the University of Michigan to enable student- and teacher- exchange for shortterm research projects. The MoU will come into effect next year.

The MoU will give undergraduate students a chance to go on a seven- week student exchange programme to study under reputed scientists in the US university.

According to varsity officials, the details of the exchange programme are being worked upon. Science students will be benefiting from the MoU the most.

" The MoU will expand linkages that will mutually benefit the students and the faculty of both universities," Alka Sharma, DU registrar, said. The MoU was signed by te DU registrar and Dr Mary Sue Coelman, president of University of Michigan.
