Energy company DTE Energy (NYSE:DTE) reported on Wednesday that it has appointed Angela Buk as its chief investment officer.

In the new position, Buk will oversee and lead the company's investment policy and strategy as well as manage its employee retirement plan investments and other company trust investments.

Most recently, Buk led the Alternative Investments team in the Treasury Asset Management Group at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). Previously, she was a senior auditor with Deloitte LLP, performing audits of pension plans, financial institutions and real estate firms, servicing Fortune 500 clients..

Currently, Buk is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a Level II candidate in the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst programme.
