DSG plans new stores.

CURRYS owner DSG International outlined plans for more new-look stores after hailing the early success of a strategy to shake up the business.

DSG International said its new format Currys Megastores and combined Currys and PCWorld shops were proving particularly popular as they offered customers wider ranges and improved standards of service.

The company, which has PCWorld and Currys stores at Leeds Road in Huddersfield and a branch at the town's Kingsgate centre, plans to refurbish about 100 stores in UK and Ireland in the current financial year, with the majority ready for Christmas.
