BLACKWOOD, N.J., Jan 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Drug Screening Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: DRUG) announced today that Post-Effective Amendment No. 1 to its Registration Statement on Form SB-2 (File No. 33-60176) has been declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission and as a result, the company's outstanding redeemable warrants are now exercisable.

The redeemable warrants are exercisable at $5.50 per share of common stock until June 3, 1996, when they expire. The company has the right to redeem the warrants at a price of five cents per share of common stock purchasable thereunder at any time throughout the exercise period under certain conditions.
