MAZDA has launched a new special edition for 2003 from its successful MX-5 range, the MX-5 Nevada.With two new unique metallic paint colours and a high specification list, its price starts from pounds 15,995.
The Mazda MX-5 Nevada is the latest in a long line of very popular special editions that are sufficiently different enough to make them highly prized vehicles.
Only 2,050 of these special models will be available in the UK, and with either the 1.6 or spirited 1.8-litre engine and a choice of either cerion silver or strato blue, the Mazda MX-5 Nevada is set to be a much sought- after vehicle.
The special edition Nevada gets a high specification list which includes new design 16" alloy wheels, dark blue or grey cloth soft top, colour matched soft top cover, two tone leather steering wheel, two tone leather gear knob, cloth trim as standard with the option of dark blue or grey leather, aluminium look centre panel, remote central locking, stainless steel scuff plate and wind blocker.
The 1.8-litre model with leather trim is priced at just pounds 16,995.
Last year was an all-time record year for the Mazda MX-5 in the UK with sales exceeding 7,500.
Already this year the car looks set for another record: January saw 555 sales versus 463 during the same period last year, an increase of 20 per cent.
