DRIVETIME: MOTORING: Five-star safety award for Peugeot 807.
In order to achieve this result, the Peugeot 807 has been engineered to incorporate extremely high levels of both active and passive safety features.
Key elements such as the rigid body structure incorporating programmed distortion zones combine with the seats that are all fitted with inertia seatbelts with three-point fixings.
Crucially, the 807 also incorporates six additional airbags, including two curtain airbags designed to protect the heads of passengers in all three rows of seats - a world first when the vehicle was launched in 2002.
Active safety features include an outstanding chassis that boasts the latest electronic control systems; anti-lock brakes, electronic stability programme, electronic brake-force distribution and emergency brake assist all feature as standard equipment.
