DRESSER'S INSTRUMENT DIVISION ACQUIRES EBRO ELECTRONIC GmbH

 DALLAS, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Dresser Industries, Inc. (NYSE: DI) announced today that its Instrument Division has acquired Ebro Electronic GmbH of Ingolstadt, Germany.
 Ebro Electronic is a leading German manufacturer of laboratory and industrial temperature, humidity and pressure instruments used in food, pharmaceutical and chemical process industries. These instrument products are marketed throughout Europe under the Ebro trademark and include electronic indicators, controllers and data logging devices.
 Dresser's Instrument Division manufactures and markets a full line of pressure and temperature instruments worldwide under the Ashcroft and Heise trade names to the energy, chemical process, medical and aerospace industries.
 Dresser's Instrument Division President John Caldwell stated that "this is an important addition to Dresser and offers considerable synergy to both companies.
