DRAGONS' DEN BECKONS KEAR.
WAKEFIELD coach John Kear is wanted by Catalans Dragons.
Super League's bottom club have reportedly offered the former England and Hull FC boss a three-year deal.
But sources close to Kear suggest he may stay at Belle Vue with Catalans weighing up several other Australian options.
Harlequins fans won't be allowed to blow their own trumpets even if they beat leaders Wigan Warriors at the Stoop on Saturday. The London club is the first in the country to ban the World Cup's vuvuzela.
General manager Paul Blanchard said: "As a club we pride ourselves on our match-day experience and atmosphere.
"However, as anyone who has been watching the World Cup will attest, vuvuzelas completely block out the sound of cheering and singing.
"We also have to consider the players and ensuring they can hear each other and the referee's signals."
