DOWN CHAMPS COO-ING.

Byline: KEVIN CARNEY Kingscourt Stars (Cav) 0-5 Kilcoo (Dwn) 3-15

SUPER-COOL Kilcoo will cross swords with old adversaries Crossmaglen in the Ulster semi-final after a 19 point rout yesterday.

Once Paul Devlin palmed the ball (25) to the Stars' net, there was only going to be one winner and they led by 1-7 to 0-4 at the break.

Livewire corner forward Jerome Johnston fired home a soccer-like goal (35) to add further salt into Kingscourt's gaping wound.

Their woes weren't helped by a dismissal of their stand-out defender Padraig Faulkner before Paul Greenan (left) notched Kilcoo's last goal two minutes later. Kilcoo did have Daryl Branagan sent off late on.
