 DOW CORNING'S CAMPBELL RETIRES, JOINS HERMAN MILLER;
 YERRICK NAMED VICE PRESIDENT, U.S. OPERATIONS
 MIDLAND, Mich., March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Larry Reed, president and chief operating officer of Dow Corning, today announced the retirement of J. Kermit Campbell, group vice president, U.S. Operations, effective April 1, 1992, and the appointment of Kenneth B. Yerrick, currently vice president of human resources, to succeed Campbell effective May 1, 1992, as vice president, U.S. Operations.
 Campbell, a 32-year employee of Dow Corning, will assume the position of president and chief executive officer of Herman Miller, Inc., headquartered in Zeeland, Mich. "We have greatly appreciated and benefited from Kerm's leadership," Reed said, "and wish him success in his new assignment."
 Campbell has served in a variety of executive assignments in the U.S. and Europe including vice president and general manager of the Fluids and Lubricants Business and vice president of Personnel, Communications and Public Affairs.
 In parallel with Yerrick's new appointment, Reed also announced that Yerrick will continue to chair Dow Corning's Environment, Health and Safety


Board. A 30-year employee of Dow Corning, Yerrick was elected a corporate vice president in 1991. He has previously held various research and business management positions, including European assignments as director of Research and Development and as manager of the Fluids, Resins, and Process Industries Business. He also served as business manager for Medical Materials.
