DOUGLAS L. BRACKBILL NAMED VICE PRESIDENT, WIRELESS SERVICES FOR SKYTEL CORP.

 WASHINGTON, March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- David W. Garrison, president of SkyTel Corp., announced today that Douglas L. Brackbill has been named vice president, Wireless Services for SkyTel.
 Mr. Brackbill will be based in Silicon Valley spearheading SkyTel's efforts in working directly with computer hardware and software vendors in developing new mobile computing products, services and applications.
 "Doug Brackbill has the technical and marketing expertise to help drive the integration of SkyTel services with the new generation of hand-held computers, personal communicators and applications software," said Mr. Garrison.
 Mr. Brackbill has extensive experience in telecommunications, messaging and marketing. Upon completing his education, Mr. Brackbill began his career at Sprint, and later served in marketing and business development positions at MCI for ten years. At MCI, Doug Brackbill was a member of the original team that conceived of MCI's electronic mail messaging service and, later, he served as the team's directors of marketing. Mr. Brackbill joins SkyTel after spending 1992 as vice president for Workgroup Computing as Borland International.
 In 1991, Mr. Brackbill served as chairman of the Electronic Mail Association.
 Mr. Brackbill, age 36, received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He was awarded an M.B.A. for the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Mr. Brackbill received an M.S. in science and engineering, also from the University of Pennsylvania.
