DOTS line extended by Twinlab.

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. -- Twinlab Corp. has expanded its DOTS line of dietary supplements with the addition of a quick-dissolve resveratrol tablet.

Formulated with 32 mg of concentrated 98% trans-resveratrol, an antioxidant found in red wine, Resveratrol Max DOTS have an absorption rate that is 25 times faster than many other oral supplement capsules, according to the company.

Twinlab marketers note that there is growing evidence that the antioxidants in red wine can be beneficial to a person's health.

Resveratrol Max DOTS, they point out, offer an easy way to get the antioxidant benefits of resveratrol in a convenient, concentrated form.

In addition to trans-resveratrol, the new supplement contains BioVin, a red wine extract that has also been found to be high in antioxidants.

"The French have long attributed their good health to their consumption of red wine," explains Marc Stover, marketing director at Twinlab. "Emerging research now indicates that there may be some truth to the idea that constituents in red wine can help to play a beneficial role in our health."
