DONALD M. RORKE NAMED PRESIDENT OF STEUBEN
DONALD M. RORKE NAMED PRESIDENT OF STEUBEN CORNING, N.Y., FEB. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Corning Incorporated
(NYSE: GLW) said it has named Donald M. Rorke, 62, as president and chief executive officer of its Steuben Glass Division, effective March 1. He succeeds Susan B. King, 51, who earlier this month was named Corning's senior vice president for corporate affairs.
Rorke most recently has been executive vice president-design for The Knoll Group, a New York City-based division of Westinghouse. He has been with Knoll since 1975, serving in senior positions in marketing, operations, administration and design management. In 1990 he was awarded the Bronze Apple Award by the Greater New York Chapter of the Industrial Designers Society of America in recognition of his contribution to the industrial design profession. Steuben is a world leader in the design and production of fine crystal for home and office.
