Program host(s) and director will be named in the near future.
Mischer, president of Don Mischer Productions and Mischer Enterprises, has been honored with 31 Primetime Emmy Award nominations (he won nine), a record eight Directors Guild of America Awards, a Peabody and numerous other awards. As producer-director, Mischer's credits range from "Michael Jackson's Super Bowl XXVII Halftime Spectacular," "The Kennedy Center Honors" (which he produces with George Stevens Jr.), and "Carnegie Hall: Live at 100" to "Baryshnikov By Tharp," "Motown 25" and "It's The Gary Shandling Show."
