DON'T LET IT ALL GO TO WAIST.

WOMEN with a big hip to waist ratio should always go for a high waist and avoid low-rise jeans, according to Jade.

The guru, pictured right with Jody Jameson, said: "In fact, low-rise jeans are difficult to wear for most women, because they are always falling down and create a muffin top even if you don't have one. Always go for something which makes your legs look longer by going for a darker colour or, say, ruffles at the ankle.

"Women should always opt for jeans which are quite tailored, too. That doesn't mean sprayed on, or really fitted, it just means a bit structured.

"If you are really slim, you don't actually want anything too tight as it will just make you look thinner and similarly, if you are bigger, tight jeans are going to make you look larger.

"Go for something which skims the hips and through the thigh.

"If you are going for a skinny jean, it should be equally as well fitted through the calf, but if you are going for a boot cut or flare then make sure it is one that starts gently flaring from the knee, as that is much more leg-lengthening."
