DOLLYWOOD'S 1993 'SHOWCASE OF STARS' CONCERT TICKETS GO ON SALE APRIL 5

 PIGEON FORGE, Tenn., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- The wait is over for country music fans. The day they have been looking forward to has finally come -- Dollywood "Showcase of Stars" concert tickets go on sale Monday, April 5 at 10 a.m. EST.
 This year's "Showcase of Stars," presented by Coca-Cola Classic in Dollywood's Celebrity Theatre, debuts May 1-2 and continues every weekend throughout the park's regular operating season. In addition to weekend concerts, the "Showcase of Stars" will be presented daily from June 26 through August 1. Now in its sixth season, the celebrity concert series features a blend of contemporary country favorites with many of country music's hottest new artists.
 Showtimes for all concerts are 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.; the 2 p.m. show (and 7 p.m. shows during Dollywood's Sunset Musicfest July 10 - August 1) require admission to the Dollywood park. Al seats are reserved and are sold on a first come, first serve basis.
 Dollywood implements a new value pricing structure for the "Showcase of Stars" concert tickets in 1993. Tickets for most artists are $7.99 plus tax and $9.99 plus tax. Tickets for selected artists marked with a (A) below are $12.99 plus tax and $14.99 plus tax. Dollywood season pass holders save 20 percent on all their "Showcase of Stars" concert ticket purchases.
 Tickets for the 1993 "Showcase of Stars" may be purchased in person beginning at 10:00 a.m. (EST) -- 6:00 p.m. at the Dollywood Information Center in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Tickets may be purchased with a Visa, Mastercard or Discover by calling (615)428-9620 or (615)428-9630 daily from 10:00 a.m. -- 6:00 p.m.
