DOLLIE COLE, WALTER GRAUMAN AND THOMAS IINO ELECTED MUSEUM DIRECTORS

 HOLLYWOOD, July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Historical preservationist and philanthropist Dollie Cole, renowned director and producer Walter E. Grauman, and Deloitte & Touche International Partner-in-Charge Thomas Iino have been elected to the board of directors of Hollywood Entertainment Museum. The announcement was made today by museum President and Chief Executive Officer, Phyllis Caskey. The newly elected board members will serve with Marjorie Lord Volk, Jack Haley, Jr., Howard W. Koch, Robert J. Dowling, Barbara Lazaroff, Michael Dubelko, Earl Lestz, Daniel P. Garcia, Andrew T. Curd and Edward C. Friedrichs. State Senator and President Pro Tempore David Roberti serves as board chairman.
 Caskey commented, "The addition of these three distinguished board members will serve the project well at this critical stage in the museum's development." She added, "Dollie Cole's interest in restoration of historically significant buildings coincides perfectly with the museum's acquisition of the Hollywood Pacific Theatre site, a designated historic cultural monument. Dollie serves on the executive committee of the board of directors of the Smithsonian Institution and helped save the historic Music Hall in Detroit. She will bring invaluable fundraising experience to the project." Cole who lives in Lockhart, Texas is the widow of the late Edward N. Cole, who was president of General Motors from 1967 to 1975.
 Grauman is linked to historic Hollywood through his family's involvement with the famed Chinese Theatre and the Egyptian. Of his own accord, he is an award-winning producer-director for stage, television and film. Grauman produced and directed many episodes for television series including "The Untouchables," "Naked City," and "Route 66." His film credits include "Lady in a Cage," "A Rage to Live," and "The Last Escape." Grauman serves on the board of the Music Center of Los Angeles and is a founder of the County Art Museum and Museum of Contemporary Art. "Walter will help guide the project with a unique perspective gained from his years in Hollywood and his dedication to culture and improving Los Angeles' image," added Caskey. Grauman, who lives in Los Angeles, is married to the former Peggy Parker and has two children, Amy Grauman Danzinger and Lawrence Grauman, and two grandsons.
 "With Tom Iino on our board, the museum will expand its access to the Los Angeles corporate community and in particular the many companies from Pacific Rim Countries. As the international partner-in-charge for Deloitte & Touche, Tom has contacts which will prove extremely valuable to the museum," Caskey said. Iino is campaign chairman for the Japanese American National Museum and serves on the Executive Committee of the United Way-Los Angeles Metro Region. Iino and his wife Barbara live in Pacific Palisades and have six children.
 Hollywood Entertainment Museum is scheduled to open in late 1995. The museum is a public benefit corporation which is in the process of collecting artifacts representing Hollywood and the evolution of its entertainment industry including motion pictures, television, radio, and sound recording. Exhibits will be interactive using the latest technologies. The museum instituted its Charter Membership program in early June for all who wish to participate in establishing Hollywood Entertainment Museum.
