 DOE PROVIDES FORUM FOR WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESSES
 WASHINGTON, June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Providing enhanced business


opportunities for local women-owned businesses is the focus of a Department of Energy/Small Business Administration-sponsored forum, "A Women-Owned Business Mini-Marketing Fair," which will be held at the Department of Energy (DOE) tomorrow (June 18) from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at DOE's Forrestal Building.
 This is the third Women-Owned Business Fair sponsored by the DOE and the SBA. The program provides women-owned businesses the opportunity to meet with various program offices and DOE contracting personnel for the purpose of describing their firms' qualifications and capabilities to do work for the DOE.
 Representatives from four local women-owned businesses will be present for the Mini-Marketing Fair. The companies are:
 -- Datamatics Inc. This Greenbelt, Md., based company was founded in 1983 and provides computer related services (programming, systems analysis, and database management).
 -- Executive Security & Engineering Technologies Inc. This Washington, D.C., based firm was founded in 1984 and provides security, data processing and engineering related services.
 -- Metrica Inc. This company was incorporated in 1984 and now has four offices in Texas, New Jersey and Virginia. The company offers services in contract research and advanced data services.
 -- Viewtech Inc. This District Heights, Md., company, which was founded in 1985, provides data collection and data processing services in the area market studies.
