DOD AUDITORS FINISH LOOK AT DCX $5.3 MILLION SETTLEMENT
FRANKTOWN, Colo., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- DCX Inc. (NASDAQ: DCXI)

today announced the Defense Contract Audit Agency completed its field work in the audit of the company's $5.3 million settlement proposals previously presented to the Defense Logistics Agency. Company president, Jeanne M. Anderson, indicated she is pleased with the progress made to date and anticipates final inventory review to occur shortly, after which the company will begin final settlement negotiations with the Government's Termination Contracting Officer.
DCX recently presented settlement proposals amounting to $5,313,741 to the Defense Logistics Agency representing the amount to fairly compensate DCX for costs incurred on two contracts for electrical distribution systems which were terminated improperly in the summer of 1988. The company successfully appealed the terminations for default before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals. The board ruled in May of this year the Government had acted improperly and ordered the termination for default converted to termination for the convenience of the Government.

The company has assets of $6.5 million, shareholder's equity of $3.3 million and its 2,959,452 shares of common stock are traded on the NASDAQ.
