LYNBROOK, NY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 7, 2003

DOAR Communications Inc. announced today that its subsidiary, Integrated Communications Inc. (ICI) has purchased the assets of ACE Audio-visual Inc. (ACE) from its senior lender, following a foreclosure. DOAR is the nation's leading provider of courtroom and commercial AV services. ICI, which has employed certain former employees of ACE, will do business under the trade name "ACE Communications."

The asset purchase establishes the new, combined entity as the region's dominant audio-visual integrator and creates a full-service organization offering solutions in systems integration, rentals/staging, staffing and managed services. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

"The ACE brand combined with DOAR's management team is synonymous with audio-visual systems expertise," said Nicholas Croce, President of DOAR. "Preserving top-tier customers, adding the value of comprehensive service offerings, and welcoming aboard a talented team of ICIA Certified professionals are significant moves for us. Our expanded organization is positioned for incredible growth and success."

The purchase does not include ACE's media duplication division. Both New York-based, the majority of DOAR's systems integration operations and those of ACE will be combined into DOAR's newly-constructed headquarters facility.

"The ACE tradition and legacy has been invigorated with new energy," said Marc Hochlerin, CTS, former President and CEO of ACE, now acting as a consultant for ICI. "This is the ideal arrangement for ACE clients, who have come to expect superior service and the most technically-advanced communications and presentation solutions from a proven, award-winning industry leader."
