DO YOU FIND YOUR JOB A CHALLENGE? medical notes.

IF so, the good news is it may mean you have fewer problems with thinking and forgetfulness in later life.

A new study published in journal Neurology suggests people with more complex jobs are less likely to struggle with memory issues.

Dr Simon Ridley, Head of Research at Alzheimer's Research UK, said: "This adds to growing evidence about factors that could influence brain health as we age. Keeping the brain active could be helpful, and different types of work may play a role. However, this study points to a subtle association between occupation and later life cognition. It's not proof that occupation has a direct influence."
