DNR: HEARING ON STATE LAND TRANSFER TO BE HELD IN FRIDAY HARBOR

 OLYMPIA, Wash., Feb. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) said today it is inviting public comment on a proposed land transfer. The proposed transfer will transfer state Common School Trust land to the San Juan County Land Bank. The trust land will be replaced with land of equal value in a future transaction.
 The 30.1-acre parcel is located on Shaw Island and is known as Government Lot 13, Section 26, Township 36 North, Range 2 West. W.M.
 A public hearing will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, in the San Juan County Courthouse Commissioners Hearing Room on Friday Harbor, San Juan Island.
 The Board of Natural Resources, which must approve all DNR land transfers, will review the proposal at a future meeting.
