DMCC moves into Almas Tower.

Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) is moving into its own offices in the iconic Almas Tower, and the new offices will be fully operational from July 22, according to the centre.

The new offices are located on the 49th, 50th and 51st floors of the 65-floor Almas Tower, within the Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) development.

C[pounds sterling]DMCCCOs relocation to its own offices at Almas Tower marks a significant milestone for us, and the first phase in the development of a commodity-specific physical cluster in Dubai," said Ahmed bin Sulayem, executive chairman, DMCC.

At DMCCCOs new offices, the registration and legal services, finance, corporate business development and customer relationship management (CRM) departments will be located on the 49th floor.

The government services departments for both DMCC and JLT will operate permanently from the Jewellery and Gemplex (building No. 3, ground floor).

Purpose built for the diamond industry, Almas Tower boasts of hi-tech security systems and secure vaulting facilities for its occupants, and will house the Dubai Diamond Exchange, according to DMCC.
