DJ DEAN IT'S NOT GOODCRY.
The veteran will host his final programmes on Clyde 2 on Saturday and Sunday.
Dean, 63 said: "There won't be any sad songs because I'm determined not to blub. I want to go out the way I came in, on a high and laughing.
"I've had the best time ever doing the Saturday and Sunday morning shows and my 100,000 weekend listeners have been like a gigantic family."
Dean and breakfast DJ Mike Riddoch were told last month that Clyde 2 were going to replace their programmes with network shows.
Clyde owners Bauer Radio said Robin Galloway, drivetime DJ on Clyde 1, will replace local breakfast presenters on Clyde 2, Northsound 2, Forth 2, Tay AM and Ayr-based West Sound from July 1. Dean said: "It came as a complete surprise but that's what happens in this business with most stations now networking shows.
"I want to say thanks to everyone at Clyde for the 13 years of fun we've had, as well as four years at West Sound."
