DJ's stalker walks free.

A CRAZED radio fan who stalked a DJ by phoning him up to 40 times in an hour has walked free from court.

William Galloway bombarded late night host Dennis Lilley with calls to his home after he quit Ayr-based West Sound.

Initially friendly calls turned sinister and threatening.

And at Ayr Sheriff Court last week, Galloway, of Kilwinning, was sentenced to three years' probation.

Sheriff John Montgomery told him: "Your behaviour was bizarre beyond belief
