DIY house for EUR100,000.

A GEORGIAN house is on the market for EUR100,000 in Balbriggan, Co Dublin.

But the house, which dates back 200 years, needs to be built brick by brick.

It is resting on pallets in the headquarters of local businessman Seamus Murphy ready for a new owner to rebuild it.

In 1995, Mr Murphy bought the Co Meath house for pounds 10,000 and had it dismantled, brick by brick by expert builders in numbered and labelled pieces.

The house was then put into a warehouse and Seamus told how it looked like a large Lego set.

It was made from limestone stonework so could be assembled elsewhere.

Seamus said: "It was one of those mad things you do in life."
