DISNEYLAND AND THE DISNEYLAND HOTEL OFFER SPECIALLY PRICED TICKETS AND HOTEL PACKAGES TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS, JAN. 11-MARCH 15
ANAHEIM, Calif., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Disneyland will once again offer a "Resident Salute" ticket for Southern California residents at a price of $20 for adults and children, Jan. 11 through March 15, 1992. The winter months are an excellent time to visit Disneyland, as holiday crowds diminish and opportunities for unhurried enjoyment of the park increase.
This unique $20 one-day ticket is available to all residents of Southern California (ZIP codes 90000 through 93599). It will be sold at Disneyland ticket booths Jan. 11 through March 15, with a limit of five tickets per adult with valid identification. Of course, Disneyland Passports will be available at the regular price -- $27.50 for adults and $22.50 for ages 3 through 11 -- to all guests from outside the Southern California area.
The Disneyland Hotel will also be offering two "Resident Salute" packages Jan. 11 through March 15, 1992, based on space availability. The $129 package, available to guests with valid Southern California identification, includes one night in the hotel (accommodating up to four persons), two one-day Disneyland Passports and free hotel parking. A deluxe version, priced at $184, features a one-night stay on a concierge-level room (accommodating up to four persons), two one-day Disneyland Passports, access to the exclusive new concierge lounge with such features as complimentary continental breakfast, plus added in-room amenities and free hotel parking.
The 60-acre hotel features direct access to the Magic Kingdom via the Disneyland Monorail and boasts 1,131 newly refurbished rooms which surround a scenic marina playland. The resort also showcases 11 restaurants and lounges, nearly 20 shops and three swimming pools.
The Disneyland Hotel's "Resident Salute Package" is not applicable to groups or with other discounts. Tax and additional Disneyland Passports are extra. To make reservations call 714-956-6400.
As always, the Magic Kingdom offers its nearly 60 attractions in seven themed lands throughout the "Resident Salute." However, due to the park's refurbishment schedule, selected attractions may be closed. Guests are encouraged to telephone Guest Relations to see if a favorite adventure is being refurbished. Additional park information and refurbishment schedules are available by telephoning 714-999-4565.
