DISNEY WILL PROVIDE FUNDS TO HELP REBUILD CONDOS DESTROYED BY HURRICANE ANDREW

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla., May 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Walt Disney World Co. will provide funds to help a group of condominium owners in the Country Walk community outside Miami rebuild homes destroyed by Hurricane Andrew last year.
Terms of the agreement reached late Thursday between Disney and the owners are confidential.
Much of the Country Walk community was developed by Arvida Corp., which Disney ran for a brief period during the 1980s.
Home Owners Warranty Insurance Co. insures the condominiums, but has not contributed any monies to help repair the damaged units.
Disney is considering pursuing insurance claims against Home Owners Warranty.
