DIRTY DANCING; Angry man empties slurry tank on disco after he's barred by bouncers.
Byline: EXCLUSIVE By NIALL MOONANA MAN thought to have been barred by nightclub bouncers got his revenge - by drenching the place in pig slurry.
The young clubber was livid when he was turned away from the nightspot last Bank Holiday Monday - and decided to cause a stink.
He came back with a tractor and slurry tank and emptied its foul-smelling load over the Shambles nightclub in Ardee, Co Louth.
The club, part of Muldoon's pub in Bridge Street, was forced to hire a team of cleaners to wash hundreds of gallons of slurry off the walls.
One source said: "He seemed to accept the bouncers' decision until he returned with a tractor and slurry.
"It was like that scene from Father Ted where Pat Shortt opens up the tanker and empties it on Dougal and Ted.
"But no-one was caught in the crossfire here. The doors were closed at that stage. There were a few people milling around but no one could believe what they were seeing. Thankfully, neither staff nor punters were injured."
Brian Muldoon of Muldoon's pub refused to comment to The Mirror.
But gardai confirmed the incident is being investigated. A spokesman added the culprit may also face prosecution on pollution charges if the slurry contaminated the water system.
