DINNER THEATER DEBUTS AT THE BEST WESTERN ROYAL PLAZA HOTEL

BOSTON, Sept. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel in Marlborough, Mass., is staging its first dinner theater production with the musical comedy, "The Apple Tree," on Sept. 24, at 7 p.m. The performance will be the first for the hotel as well as for the Plaza Players, a new ensemble of professional Boston-area actors.
Tickets for the evening are $25 per person and include a dinner buffet and the show. During the dinner, the Plaza Players will entertain guests with an upbeat Broadway revue, "Singin' & Swingin' Down Memory Lane." Throughout dessert, the cast will perform "The Apple Tree," a lighthearted musical comedy that portrays the age-old foibles of men and women through the lives of Adam and Eve. "The Apple Tree" was written by Sheldon Harnick and Jerry Bock, the same team who wrote the Tony Award-winning "Fiddler on the Roof." Performances will run every Friday night through Oct. 22.
The hotel is offering a special $89 package for two which includes dinner, show and overnight deluxe accommodations.
"We are enthusiastic about the opportunity to bring exquisite dining and fine entertainment at affordable prices to our guests and the community," said Anthony LaCava, general manager of the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel.
The 445-room Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel is located at 181 Boston Post Road West, near the junction of Routes 495 and 20. For tickets and reservations call 508-460-0700.
