DIMARK, INC. ANNOUNCES SECOND QUARTER EARNINGS; NET INCOME INCREASES 139 PERCENT

 LANGHORNE, Pa., Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- DiMark, Inc. (AMEX: DMK) today reported consolidated sales and earnings for the second quarter and six months ended Aug. 31, 1993.
 Sales for the second quarter ended Aug. 31, 1993, increased 27 percent to $13,333,208 from $10,494,401 for the same quarter last year. Net income for the quarter increased 139 percent to $670,561 or $.18 per share, compared to $280,201 or $.09 per share for the second quarter last year.
 Sales for the six months ended Aug. 31, 1993, increased 26 percent to $26,088,267 compared to $20,627,779 for the first six months of last year. Net income for the period increased 118 percent to $1,093,022 or $.30 per share, compared to $500,783 or $.17 per share for the first half of last year.
 Commenting on these results, Thomas E. Garvey, chairman of DiMark, Inc., stated, "We are very pleased to report that the operating results of both DiMark Marketing, Inc. and Mars Graphic Services, Inc. continue to develop according to our expectations. Continued growth at DiMark Marketing resulted in a 28 percent increase in sales to $8,349,226 from $6,535,903 for the same quarter last year. This puts DiMark Marketing 31 percent ahead in sales for the six months ended August 31, 1993, compared to the same period last year.

For the second quarter ended August 31, 1993, sales increased 28 percent compared to the same quarter a year ago to $5,536,443 from $4,310,069. This puts Mars Graphics 23 percent ahead compared to the same period last year."
