 DIGI INTERNATIONAL NAMES NEW DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
 FOR ITS DIGIBOARD DIVISION
 EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., April 21 /PRNewswire/ - Digi International Inc. (NASDAQ: DGII), recently named Joseph A. Diodati director of marketing and strategic planning for its DigiBoard division. Diodati has over 25 years of marketing and management experience.
 Diodati joined DigiBoard at the beginning of April. He recently served as vice president of marketing and sales at the Saratoga Group, consultants in desktop learning seminars on interoperability and data communications; at Viewport Technology, a manufacturer of graphical workstations; and, at IGC, which provides the VM386 operating system for microcomputers. Diodati has also held other high-level computer industry positions and currently serves as president of the MDOS Federation, an industry trade group dedicated to expanding the role of multiuser DOS operating systems.
 Headquartered in suburban Minneapolis, Digi International Inc. is a leading provider of data communications hardware and software products that permit microcomputers to function as multiuser systems in a variety of operating system environments. The company produces these communications subsystems under the DigiBoard and Arnet trade names for the rapidly growing multiuser microcomputer connectivity market.
