DIGI INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF MILAN TECHNOLOGY

 MINNEAPOLIS AND SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Digi International Inc. (NASDAQ: DGII), Minneapolis, and MiLAN Technology Corporation, Sunnyvale, Calif., jointly announce Digi International's acquisition of MiLAN Technology for stock and cash valued at approximately $7.5 million. MiLAN Technology had net sales for the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, 1993 of approximately $13,000,000.
 MiLAN Technology, a privately held company, offers a full line of networking products including Ethernet transceivers, converters, fanouts, hubs, and print servers. MiLAN has quickly grown from its founding in 1990 to become a major provider of compact, power-efficient, affordable Ethernet products. MiLAN's products are sold under the terms of OEM agreements and by distributors and VARs worldwide.
 John Schinas, Chairman of the Board of Digi International, said, "The acquisition of MiLAN represents an opportunity for Digi to strengthen its leading position in the networked systems connectivity marketplace by significantly adding to, and diversifying, Digi's product offering.
