DIBRELL BROTHERS, INC. TO POOL NORTH CAROLINA TOBACCO PROCESSING FACILITIES IN NEW JOINT VENTURE--EASTERN CAROLINA LEAF PROCESSORS CO.
 DANVILLE, Va., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Dibrell Brothers, Incorporated (NASDAQ-NMS: DBRL), Danville, Virginia, The Intabex Group, U.K., and the North Carolina subsidiaries of the companies, Carolina Leaf Tobacco Company, Inc. and Eastern Processors, Inc., respectively, are pleased to announce they will pool their North Carolina tobacco processing facilities in a newly formed joint venture partnership, Eastern Carolina Leaf Processors Company.
 The new partnership will operate at the existing Carolina Leaf factory in Greenville, North Carolina and will process leaf tobacco for both the parent companies and for third parties beginning with the upcoming 1992 tobacco crop. The companies expect to achieve a reduction in overhead and obtain other operating efficiencies by handling increased volumes of tobacco through the single facility. The senior management of the partnership will consist of James D. Gilliam, Jr., President and James E. Brothers, Executive Vice President.
 Dibrell and the Intabex Group (Eastern Processors Inc., Intabex-Hail & Cotton International, China American Tobacco Company) will continue to maintain separate buying and sales organizations. Also, the operations of Dibrell's Danville, Virginia processing plant will not be included in or affected by this partnership. The Intabex Group, U.S.A. operation, will relocate their Head Office in entirety to Greenville, North Carolina.
 Dibrell in engaged in two international businesses. The major business involves purchasing, processing and selling leaf tobacco worldwide. The other business involves the wholesale purchasing and selling of fresh cut flowers in Europe, North America and Japan.
 The Intabex Group is primarily engaged in purchasing, processing and selling leaf tobacco worldwide.
