 AT THE HAMBRECHT & QUIST HEALTH CARE CONFERENCE
 STRATFORD, Conn., Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Dianon Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: DIAN) was selected by D. Larry Smith, managing director of Life Sciences Research at Hambrecht & Quist, as his first choice amongst the companies he follows at the Hambrecht & Quist 10th Annual Life Sciences Conference. In selecting Dianon Systems, Smith mentioned the large backlog of new technology available to the company, its large domestic sales force and its track record of 33 consecutive quarters of increasing revenues.
 Dianon was one of the 141 leading health care companies which presented at this year's conference in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, health care services, medical devices, drug delivery, diagnostics and environmental services, among others.
