DIAL PAGE INC. REPORTS FOURTH-QUARTER EARNINGS

 GREENVILLE, S.C., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Dial Page, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: DPGE) reported net revenues for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 1992, of $13.8 million, a 13 percent increase over the fourth quarter of 1992.
 Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) for the 1992 quarter rose 18 percent to $5.8 million, compared with $4.9 million in the prior-year period. Operating income was $1.5 million for the 1992 fourth quarter, compared with an operating loss of $800,000 for the same period in 1991. The quarterly net loss amounted to $1.4 million, or 23 cents per share, a 68 percent improvement over the 1991 fourth-quarter loss of $4.3 million, or 86 cents per share.
 Net revenues for the year ended Dec. 31, 1992, were $52.6 million, a 13 percent increase over 1991 net revenues of $46.6 million. Pagers in service at the end of 1992 increased 14 percent to 204,586 from 178,943 at the end of 1991. EBITDA increased 15 percent to $20.1 million from $17.5 million in 1991.
 Operating income for 1992 was $2.4 million, compared with an operating loss of $6.0 million for the prior year. The 1992 net loss was $9.7 million, or $1.85 per share, a 46 percent improvement over the 1991 net loss of $17.9 million, or $3.58 per share.
 Jeffrey R. Hultman, president, said, "The 1992 results reflect the continued growth in subscriber revenue resulting from greater penetration of existing markets and the commencement of start-up operations in Atlanta, Ga., and Richmond, Va., as well as continued efficiencies in operating expenses."
