DIAL PAGE, INC. HIRES COO FOR ITS SMR ANALOG BUSINESS

 GREENVILLE, S.C., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Dial Page, Inc. (NASDAQ: DPGE) recently announced Scott E. Hoganson has joined Dial Call, its wholly owned subsidiary, as Chief Operating Officer of its specialized mobile radio (SMR) analog business. In his new position, Hoganson will be responsible for operating and developing Dial Call's existing mobile dispatch and interconnect business.
 Prior to joining Dial Call, Hoganson was with PacTel Cellular, Pacific Telesis Group in California for ten years in different positions. The last seven years as vice president/general manager, he managed the San Diego MSA and Imperial RSA cellular operations, consisting of over 200 people and $65 million in annual revenues. Hoganson also spent six years with Motorola C&E and was vice president/general manager with PageNet San Diego, Inc.
 "Scott brings to Dial Call over 16 years of experience in the wireless communications industry that is essential to the company in operating our SMR analog business," said Jeff Hultman, president and chief executive officer of Dial Page, Inc. Upon completion of previously announced mergers and acquisitions, Dial Call will be the second largest SMR operator in the United States. It will own or manage over 7,000 channels with over 100 channels in fifteen key cities and 50-75 channels in most other cities throughout a 12-state operating area.
 Dial Page is a leading provider of paging and messaging and SMR services throughout the Southern United States. After completion of its acquisitions, Dial Page will have over 280,000 pagers in service and 130,000 dispatch customers.
