DIAC expands TNE student market.
Dubai, Oct. 13 (BNA): Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) is looking to expand the Transnational Education (TNE) student market with their dynamic and expansive recruitment strategy, which includes attracting students from new emerging feeder markets and territories, showcased by their participation in the largest student recruitment exhibition in Azerbaijan, the A2 International Higher Education Fair, earlier this month week.
Speaking from the side lines of the event, Dr. Ayoub Kazim, Managing Director of Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV) and Dubai International Academic City (DIAC), said:
"In order to lead the TNE Market, it is fundamental that we participate in events like the A2 International Higher Education Fair, to communicate with our prospective students, having those important conversations first-hand, to increase awareness and promote Dubai as the emerging global education hub."
The TNE market in Dubai is among the fastest growing in the world, expanding by 15% in the last few years, with revenues reaching $148 million, according to research from the Parthenon Group. DIAC currently provides more than 400 certificate, diploma, undergraduate, post graduate and PHD programmes to over 24,000 students of 145 nationalities, which is a 20% increase on total number of students from the previous year.
DIAC's participation at the A2 International Higher Education event was part of DIAC's student recruitment initiative to increase and broaden their number of TNE students.
