DGC makes a fashion statement for Donna Karan.

DGC Capital Contracting Corporation (DGC) announced two prestigious projects in the apparel retail market.

The contractor renovated two "shop in shops" for Donna Karan in Manhattan--one in Bloomingdale's on 59th St. and Lexington and the other in Lord & Taylor on 38th Street and 5th Avenue. Both projects are remodels of existing stores.

Renovations on both Donna Karan New York stores, which are approximately 2,500 s/f each, began in August and were completed in under a month--just in time for Fashion's Night Out in New York on September 8.

Inside the Bloomingdale's Donna Karan store, DGC custom-built a 40 ft. ceiling mirror, which is the only one of its kind in Bloomingdale's.

"We are honored to be working with such a prominent apparel retailer," said Gerry Ryan, CEO, DGC Capital Contracting Corporation.

"Our motto has always been to complete all jobs on task, on time and on budget, and we worked day and night to get the two Donna Karan projects finished before Fashion's Night Out.

"Equally important, we are excited to put the finishing touches on the stores and further enhance our solid track record in the retail remodeling and retrofit sector."
