DG NIM stresses on imparting modern training, capacity building of mid career officers adl.
PESHAWAR: Director General National Institute of Management (NIM) Peshawar, Farah Hamid Friday said that officers completing Mid Career Management Course (MCMC) were experienced and aware of challenges being faced by the country, though they need to be imparted modern training, capacity building, exemplary behavior and broadmindedness to meet the tasks.
She was addressing a 24 officers group on completion of their 27th Mid Career Management Course, said a press release issued here.
On this occasion, former Education Minister and Chief Executive Zamung Kor, Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gillani was also present.
DG NIM said purpose of MCMC was to train government officials for effective meeting of high challenges and tasks, to equip them with latest knowledge and for better service delivery.
In MCMC, she continued, six modules have been included to imparting training on effective administration and good governance. While special emphasis is given on better decision making by officials performing duties on different posts.
The participants of 27th Mid Career Management Course also appreciated the training skills at NIM and said the course will help them a lot in performing duties.
