Trevor Hill

Doha Festival City (DFC) has welcomed Trevor Hill as its mall's general manager (GM). Hill brings with him over 20 years of experience in the retail industry, managing some of the leading shopping centres and retail chains in Australia.

"Trevor has a solid retail management background and extensive knowledge of the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, both of which make him a tremendous asset for our mall", said Kareem Shamma, the CEO of DFC.

Hill said the management team and him will focus their efforts on turning DFC Mall into the destination of choice for residents and tourists, offering them a one of-a-kind experience.

DFC is one of the largest mixed-use developments in the Gulf. Comprising of over 240,000 sqm of gross leasable area, its mall will be the largest in Qatar and one of the largest in the Middle East upon completion.

DFC will offer over 550 shops and stores through a selection of international and local brands including more than 100 fine and casual restaurants, cafes, and food court outlets. DFC is home to Qatar's first Ikea store -operating since 2013.
