DEVONT READYING EINSTEIN E-MAIL FOR WINDOWS

CONROE, Texas, April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Devont Software, Inc. announces the first-ever Windows version of its popular MHS(TM) electronic mail application, also featuring network desktop utilities. New Einstein(TM) E-Mail for Windows is available (July 1) for $249 (10- user version; all prices suggested U.S. resale per server at participating resellers; $299 for 20-user, $499 for unlimited users).
Einstein E-Mail for Windows features a robust implementation of MHS- compatible electronic mail, plus phone messages, network chat, a notepad, an in/out board, network printer utilities, network "send" messages and more. The e-mail address book stores multiple route options per entry, giving users more control over how to deliver messages and their delivery speed and cost. And the combination becomes especially powerful under Windows, where it can work with native facilities like the Windows clipboard to mail-enable virtually any application.
"Our first customers will be Einstein for DOS users," predicts Devont Development Vice President Jim Tyson, "because they're the ones who've been asking us to come out under Windows. For them, we made the Windows version virtually keystroke-identical to the DOS version. But at our aggressively low pricing, having seen the competition, I think we'll make quite an impact on the Windows e-mail marketplace on our own merits. Our Windows version isn't Einstein under glass, it's Einstein breaking out."
