DETROIT-REGION FORD DEALERS DEMAND PROBE AT FORD WORLD HEADQUARTERS
Ford dealers have demanded a "Probe" at Ford Motor Company World Headquarters -- and they are going to get it. It's not an investigation, but a celebration of the receipt of their first 1993 Ford Probe. At noon on Wednesday, July 15, they'll drive away from Ford Headquarters in Dearborn in 75 new 1993 Probes.
Ford dealers from Detroit, outstate Michigan, northern Indiana and northwestern Ohio will form a long motorcade of brand-new red, white and blue Ford Probes. They will be escorted by Dearborn police through the streets of Dearborn. Led by Lyn St. James, the Indy 500 "Rookie of the Year," the local dealers will drive in front of Ford World Headquarters, then on home to their dealerships. A crowd of Ford employees will gather in front of the building in a show of support for the dealers and the Probe, with entertainment from the Ford Chorus.
