 DETROIT NEWSPAPER AGENCY ANNOUNCES RECESS IN CONTRACT TALKS
 DETROIT, May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Contract talks between the Detroit Newspaper Agency and its unions have been recessed until Tuesday morning, the Agency announced tonight. By mutual consent, the current contracts have been extended through noon Tuesday.
 So far, 10 of the Agency's 12 unions have reached tentative agreements on non-economic issues. Five of those unions also have tentative agreement on economic issues.
 None of the unions have set strike deadlines. The Detroit News and the Detroit Free Press continue to be published normally during the talks.
