DESIGN ACOUSTICS PS-SW BASS EXTENSION SYSTEM FOR HOME THEATER AND STEREO SYSTEMS

DESIGN ACOUSTICS PS-SW BASS EXTENSION SYSTEM
FOR HOME THEATER AND STEREO SYSTEMS
STOW, Ohio, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- "Of all the audio equipment someone can add to a music system, the most 'bang-for-the-buck' comes from adding a subwoofer," said Peter Sabin, marketing manager for Design Acoustics. "Like the addition of a compact disc player, integrating a subwoofer into an existing system makes listening to music even more exciting."
The PS-SW reproduces the lowest music from drums, timpani, organs and bass guitars through a driver and enclosure designed exclusively to deliver the excitement and extra impact of low frequencies. With a dedicated subwoofer handling the extreme low tones, bass reproduction is significantly clearer and more dynamic.
The development of the new Design Acoustics subwoofer was influenced by home theater applications. Major price reductions in audio/video receivers (available for less than $500) make home theater systems interesting and accessible for everyone. Increased video interest makes adding a subwoofer even more important. "When you're trying to reproduce the soundtrack of today's blockbuster movies, a subwoofer is almost a necessity," said Sabin. "But for many people, subwoofers have been either too intimidating or just too darn expensive."
The PS-SW bass extension system from Design Acoustics can easily be added to virtually any stereo or home theater system. The PS-SW has been designed with "ease-of-use" and "ease-of-connection" in mind. Sabin said anyone who can connect a pair of speakers to a hi-fi system can connect the PS-SW. "Ten minutes after you get the PS-SW out of the box you'll be hearing music and soundtracks as you've never heard them before," claimed Sabin. "Deep, clear lows from every CD and soundtrack -- that's fun not just the first time, but every day."
