 DENTO-MED SIGNS JOHN CHARLES REVSON AND CHERYL LADD AS CONSULTANTS;
 GAINS PRODUCT AND MARKETING EXPERTISE FROM COSMETICS EXPERTS
 BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Dento-Med Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: DTMD), whose breakthrough patent for the emulsification of Hydron(R) polymers has opened new markets for the company in the cosmetics and personal care industries, has signed two executive consulting agreements that expand the company's management expertise in these areas.
 John Charles Revson, the son of Revlon cosmetics founder Charles Revson, will advise Dento-Med in its daily operations in such areas as product formulation, packaging, market strategy and promotion. For 20 years, Revson worked with Revlon, Inc.'s research, production, and sales and marketing operations, and as a division manager focused on product development, packaging and advertising.
 According to Dento-Med President Harvey Tauman, "Revson brings professional cosmetics marketing experience that will guide Dento-Med in its transition from product developer to product marketer."
 "Dento-Med's Hydron polymer technology is potentially the 'Gortex(R)' of the cosmetics industry," says Revson. "It forms a base for cosmetics products that allows the skin to breathe, while protecting against harsh environmental elements," he explains. "From a cosmetics chemistry perspective, the ability to suspend Hydron polymers in emulsified compositions is a technological breakthrough. Hydron polymers are known water-loving agents; 30 years ago, they made soft contact lenses possible. Hydron polymer emulsifications create a unique moisture delivery system for such products as skin care creams and lotions, sunscreens, lip balms and topical drug applications."
 Instrumental in Dento-Med's introduction of its first skin care product for the consumer market is film and television actress Cheryl Ladd, who has joined the company as an executive consultant for new products. Ladd is featured in a series of commercials for Dento-Med's Hydron Plus(TM) Hand & Body Moisturizer, which debuted two weeks ago on major cable television networks nationwide. She will advise Dento-Med directly on the development and marketing of future Hydron polymer-based health and beauty products.
 The direct response commercials were produced by DTR (Direct to Retail) Associates Limited Partnership, the leading consumer marketer of branded products through direct response television advertising and distribution through mass retailers, who feature these products "as seen on TV." DTR holds exclusive worldwide consumer marketing rights to Dento-Med's Hydron Plus product.
 According to DTR President Victor Grillo Sr., the commercials are the first step in the Boston firm's multi-phase plan to introduce Hydron Plus to the estimated $4 billion market for hand and body moisturizers. The plan includes widespread distribution through mass retailers. Ladd has also agreed to promote Hydron Plus as the "Secret of Skin Fitness" in additional television and personal appearances, on product packaging, and in print and retail advertising.
