 DELTA AIR SIGNS 10-YEAR PACT AS 'OFFICIAL AIRLINE'
 OF THE KENTUCKY DERBY AND CHURCHILL DOWNS
 LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) has signed a new 10-year agreement to extend its relationship as the "Official Airline of the Kentucky Derby" and the "Official Airline of Churchill Downs."
 Whit Hawkins, Delta's president and chief operating officer, joined Churchill Downs' president and chief operating officer, Thomas Meeker, in the ceremonial signing at the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, the same location where the original agreement was announced in March of 1989.
 "Delta Air Lines is honored to continue our association with Churchill Downs -- America's legendary racetrack -- and the Kentucky Derby -- one of the top sporting events in the world," said Hawkins. "Furthermore, we are very pleased to extend this relationship into the next century!"
 Delta, the largest airline in Kentucky, serves Lexington and Louisville, and has a major hub at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Worldwide, Delta serves 221 cities in 34 countries with 2,865 flights daily.
