 DELTA AIR LINES WILL BEGIN SERVICE
 IN WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON, PENNSYLVANIA ON NOV. 1
 WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON, Penn, Aug. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) today announced it will inaugurate daily service to Wilkes- Barre/Scranton International Airport effective Nov. 1.
 Delta's schedule will include two round-trip flights daily to its Atlanta hub. In Atlanta, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton passengers will find nonstop service to 108 destinations throughout the world aboard Delta's 487 daily flights. The service will feature Delta's 107-passenger Boeing 737-200 aircraft.
 "We at Delta are delighted to bring our world-class service to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton," said Larry Hemberger, Delta's district marketing manager. "We are equally confident that Delta's presence here will bring new convenience to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton passengers traveling to points throughout the world via our flights to Atlanta. In fact, Delta offers more flights to more nonstop destinations from Atlanta than any other airline at any airport in the world," he added.
 A major global airline, Delta serves 222 cities in 34 countries around the world. The carrier's fleet of 556 aircraft operates more than 2,800 flights daily. In addition to the new service from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Delta serves Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, and Allentown/Bethlehem/Easton, Pa.
